An ultra robust GX340, 4-stroke, overhead valve (OHV) Honda engine with a variable speed hydrostatic transmission coupled to heavy duty shaft-driven serrated augers moves 65 metric tons (72 tons) of snow per hour. The dual-stage HS1132 series rides on Honda's dual track drive for a sure-footed stance and traction in almost all snow conditions. The gas-assisted auger height adjustment system allows accurate height adjustments to accommodate snow removal from all kinds of ground surfaces, from asphalt to interlocking stone or gravel.
